| First attempt at details! | | I posted a few days ago about my first etched, upcycled glass container, and it was really inspiring! I've created a couple of new containers, and one is my first attempt at details. It's a bit off and the edges are a bit ragged, but practice makes perfect and I've got an unlimited supply of glass to practice on.[em]lol[/em] I like the uneven, frosted 'flare' at the top, myself.Check it out and see what you think! Other than the obvious imperfections do you have any other criticism?Forgive the bit of glass dust and fingerprints![em]happy[/em] | |
| | Do you hang your clothes in your closets or keep them in bureaus? | | do you like hanging your clothes in the closet or keeping them in bureaus? My dad's always teasing me cause I don't use bureaus. I keep all my clothes in my closet.I don't know why.I even have a special drawer rack to keep my underclothes and socks, etc. I really don't like bureaus as they take up a lot of room . What about you? | |
| | Creative excitement! | | I haven't gotten excited about a listing in awhile, but I had so much fun creating my newest shop addition. I spent all day cutting and scrubbing old wine bottles. This evening I took my Dremel to them and polished the edges and decided to get a bit creative. Actually, it was a bit of an accident, but I really got into it!My newest creation is titled etched glass Garden Kit and consists of an upcycled wine bottle that I casually etched some thick, wavy lines into. It's being paired with a small pack of dwarf sunflower seeds. I'm pleased with how it turned out and enjoyed going with my urge and creating something so fun. In fact, I may go and try out a new idea in a minute! Has anyone else gotten excited about a creation recently? Did it inspire you and give you other ideas? Tell me about it![em]happy[/em] | |
