| | myLot Discussions| The dude on the Memorex comercial | | Okay, does anyone remember the memorex comercial where they break the glass at a live concert, and then show you the same song from a tape, and it still breaks the glass?Okay, so, I was watching it on the MTV show "I love the 80's: 1986" does the guy on the comercial look like Peter Deluise? you know, the dude who played Doug Penhall on 21 Jump Street? Or, better question, was it Peter Deluise on that comercial in the first place? | |
| | Any troubles with Memorex CD-RW | | Has anyone else had any troubles with cds by Memorex? I bought these some time ago and don't use a lot, but here lately I have been having trouble writing to them. I get disc errors and I have had them too long to return them to the store. I hope it is just the discs and not my CD writer. | |
| | What do you think of the flat screen tv's made by Memorez? | | I went to a store called the "Weekend Store. They are like a factory outlet.I really needed a tv as my ancient tv simply wouldn't keep colorEvery Tv I saw, even at walmart, was at least 149.I saw one at this store for 99I plugged it in an it automatically set itself to the tv.Picture is excellentANyone else have a Memorex Flat Screen.. | | | What is this? SImple Save - Music and iTune Backup thingy... | | I keep downloading tunes to CD. I want to copy my DVD family movies from the disks of the camera to a regular size disk and pass to the family members. Plus I wanted to download songs and burn to disks. I saw this in the store and bought it, but better ask what I am buying incase I don't understand it.It says on the boxMusic & iTune Backup/ SImple Save/ I can Save Your Memories
Music and iTune b ack up Disk
Automatically finds, organizes and backs up your music files. No software to install. Record-Once DVD. Store up to 5,000 music files per disc.Now.. anyone heard of such a thing? It is made by Memorex. It says Record-Once - does that mean I have to have all songs I want to copy to it available as I can only copy songs to it once... meaning I can't do 20 or so now and add any more later? I guess if you have tons of songs but for just a regular kind of person... who has 5,000 songs on their PC?Anyone have any comments, thoughts or suggestions? | |
| | What FlashDrive do you use? Lexar or..... | | I am using a flash drive/jumpdrive to back up my PC harddrive and all. I purchased a Memorex 1GB previously and it works fine, but it wasn't large enough for everything on my HD.. So I just put my photos on it and now have purchased a Lexar 4GB/USB.I like to stay with the brands I have used and have had good luck with and know how to use. I can't find Memorex brand, so I have heard (I think) of Lexar brand...It was the cheapest by a few dollars, but that is not an issue to me... I had never heard of the other brand and Sony was the only other one offered and it was a bit more expensive... Lexar was just on sale this week.My question: Does anyone have any comments or likes/dislikes about the Lexar brand of flash drive? | |
| | I won't be here for a while...lost another home PC... | | I hate to say it, but I won't be here on MyLot for a while because 1 or 2 weeks ago, my old eMachines desktop PC (my late psychiatrist got me that PC in the early part of the 2000s) got too dusty on the inside and made it stop working. I noticed this on my SeaGate FreeAgent Go 80GB portable hard drive blinking like crazy when I plugged it in. That meant something was wrong. I took the PC to the Geek Squad, and they said it wasn't economical to even repair or fix it. So I saved my external hard disk drive of it as well as my Memorex DVD DL burner disk drive and had the hard disk drive saved inside the enclosure case. I didn't want to format it for my HP Omnibook 4150 laptop because I still had files in there I had to transfer. Without a home PC i'm going to have a difficult time being here, and going to MyLot in a college library is slow, so that's why I won't be here for a while. But when I save enough money for a new desktop PC, i'll be back. Wish my luck while i'm gone! Also, yesterday I got 3 relaxation CDs from Circuit City for $3 dollars each! This'll be of great help when I get my own place sometime this year or the next as I need to recollect my thoughts and rejuvenate... | |
