| Finally decided what to give my friend | | for her birthday! I was belly-aching a few discussions ago about what to give this friend of mine. I made her gift over the weekend! I decided that instead of very expensive fresh flowers, I would just alter a photo frame, and personalise it with her name and some nice decoration from my scrapbooking stash. So now it's all done and waiting for her birthday to arrive when I can give it to her!Have you ever made a friend something for their birthday? Other than a card? | |

| | Have you ever got a gift which you really wanted? | | Most of the gifts I got till now are show case items and photo frames which I really didn't want. It is against my culture to say 'no' to a gift. Of course, I won't hesitate to take expensive gifts like jewelry.The only thing I got in m life as a surprise gift, which I really wanted is a small lipstick case, where I keep my pen drive. One more gift, my room mate got me sandals and hand bag for my wedding,which I was planning to buy.Have you ever got a gift which you really wanted?ly.

| Do you like to put pictures of your family at home? | | I like taking pictures and like to put our pictures in the nice photo frames in the house; since I have got my new camera, I have made more nice pictures frame and put some here and there, sometimes when I look at the picture, it reminds me what I did with my family on that day and it makes me*SMILE*[em]happy[/em]Do you like to do that too? | | What to Give For Wedding Gifts? | | We have 3 weddings to go to in the next couple of months and I'm not sure what to get any of them. Normally I like to just give hard cold cash but with so many weddings I honestly just can't afford to spend a lot of money on all of them & I can't give less than $100 in cash without feeling like it's too little ($100 doesn't even buy you a tank of gas anymore!)I looked at their registries, and most of them are asking for things I know they will NEVER use (like a blender! or a waffle maker! Sure, some people might use those, but I know my friends wouldn't!)Any ideas? And wedding gifts you may have gotten that you loved? (My hubby and i didn't have a "wedding" per se, so we got no gifts for me to use as inspiration. Maybe I should give them cards that say "I'll give you your wedding present when you give us ours, lol...hmmm...probably not a good idea!)The cheaper the ideas the better! (cheap does not always mean meaningless!)

But it would be great to see the photo have the photo size written there too. That way when you decide to buy a picture frame, then you will already know the size that the picture will come in.
